Certified ScrumMaster Training
8-9 October 2009 at Renewtek’s Melbourne offices.
Earlybird $1,650 (if booked before 23 Sept). Standard price $1,760.
Everything you need to get started with Scrum and Agile...

Delivered by world-renowned Certified ScrumMaster trainers from Rally and Renewtek, this course shares time-tested practices for managing product backlogs, planning your releases and iterations (Sprints) and tracking and reporting progress. Participants will learn how to effectively plan and run daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and more.

On completion, participants are registered as Certified ScrumMasters (CSMs), which includes a two year membership in the Scrum Alliance, where valuable ScrumMaster-material and information are available exclusively to CSMs.

Collaboration Explained
14 October 2009, Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney.
Earlybird $825 (if booked before 23 Sept). Standard price $880.
A specially compacted version of this acclaimed two-day course, scheduled the day before the Agile Australia conference.

The Collaboration Explained workshop provides actionable information for Agile team members, particularly those with the responsibility of creating and leading project teams. It will help you to rethink and realign the traditional command-and-control culture of most development groups. We’ll address the paradigm shift most organisations moving to Agile face and provide a set of practical skills and techniques to assist in the transition to a collaborative team environment.

The first half focuses on the fundamentals of a collaborative culture. The second half delves into effective meetings with collaborative teams – how to ensure participation, manage conflict and drive towards action. The workshop will conclude with developing an action plan for your own team for implementing the skills and techniques learned during this information-packed day.
